This is my short sweet to the point version...What can I say about Camp Jubilee? It is a place to encounter God! For those who say you can encounter Him anywhere, you can. However, there are those special places that have been prayed over and set aside for this special purpose. Camp Jubilee is one of those places. It is located in beautiful, rural East TN and gives people the opportunity to disconnect from what is going on in the world. Because of this, you have the opportunity to truly engage in Christ Centered activities, worship, and fellowship. The spiritual spark delivered through this place keeps us coming back year after year!

I am Todd Lawson, the youth pastor for Mountain Ash Baptist Church in Williamsburg, KY. We have been coming to Camp Jubilee for around 10 years now. It’s so hard to explain the feeling that you get at camp. When you enter through the gates it is a completely different feeling. God moves up on that mountain. My youth group wants camp to be 3 or 4 times a year.
The activities are awesome; with a big zip line, waterslides, a rock wall, and a pool. The activities are good but the moving of the Holy Spirit is the reason we attend. We have seen several students accept Christ at camp and also several called into the ministry. Again, I say it’s so hard to explain what goes on at camp. I go back and tell my church and when they ask me about it all I can say is “You need to come see!"

My name is Gracie Odle and I am currently a student at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. I came to camp for one year as a camper and then came and served with the Summer Mission Team for the past 3 years! This year will be my 4th year as a SMT! Camp Jubilee has a special place in my heart. This is the place where my parents met, my dad got called to the ministry, and my mom got saved! This place has become my home away from home and the people here have become family!
There are simply no words to describe Camp Jubilee; you just have to experience it yourself! God moves in such a mighty way there that you can feel it as soon as you step through the gate! Camp offers so many fun experiences for its campers from zip lining and rock wall to bible class and nightly sermons. Camp has also blessed me with the opportunity to serve and to show others love! Camp Jubilee is incredible, but don’t take my word for it, come and see for yourself!!
